Time

I recently decided not to place my watch on my wrist prior to going surfing. I don't need it. I usually have enough time to simply enjoy the act of surfing and want to enjoy that moment and not focus on where I have to go afterwards and when I have to get out of the ocean. This allows me to stay present in each moment just that much more…to move with the ocean's tides and harness its natural and mystical energy. Attempting to do this in other areas of my life can generate a similar effect, a sense of peace and tranquility. I will allow the natural and gradual course of each moment to come and to pass without constantly evaluating the seconds of the clock. I will breath in the joy and contentment that comes from being present.
